As natural home makers, women have a unique God-given ability to nurture. However, some may struggle to fulfil this role especially
in the area of stewarding and advancing their business. These limitations can stem from various root problems such as, insufficient
finances, lack of self-esteem or limited physical resources. As Christians one of our responsibilities is to ensure the advancement of
God’s kingdom by whatever means possibly. With that, we are here to help women recognize their place in running a successful
business through prayers, biblical teachings, guidance and counselling.
Principles of Christian Business Owners
Entrepreneurs’ may get blindsided by several things which may cause them to miss various opportunities to represent God well.
Therefore, a few core principles of a successful Christian business are:
• Generosity- being a cheerful giver of both tangible and intangible gifts enables Christian business owners to further spread the
message of God’s kindness.
• Honesty – Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool. Proverbs 19:1
Honesty sets an example for others especially those who are unsaved and unfamiliar.
• Wise investments- Emulating this practice will enable you to reap rewards that can serve you and others in the future.
• Fairness- Doing what’s right is not always easy but it is a practice that honors God.
In a practical sense we have made a list of different local entities that are geared towards offering help to women in business.
